Following The Invisible Man, detectives Ashdown and Woes have conquered Stage Four. Their success, however, presents new complications for the enigmatic Gamemasters, who must navigate their own secrets while introducing fresh challenges. Meanwhile, Haney works to expose the Gamemasters' scheme, Catscratcher wreaks havoc, and the even more perilous Stage Five looms.
Gameplay remains true to the series' formula: players examine interactive crime scenes (over 25 in this installment), analyze evidence, and answer multiple-choice questions to solve cases. The distinctive Methods art style and captivating storyline are retained.
