China Miéville's Perdido Street Station, a critically acclaimed masterpiece of fantasy and a cornerstone of "weird fiction," is receiving the deluxe treatment it deserves from The Folio Society. This new edition, timed perfectly for the novel's 25th anniversary, is a substantial 707-page hardcover. It boasts a new afterword by Miéville himself and stunning new illustrations by Doug Bell. Bell's artwork includes eight black and white chapter opening images, twelve full-color illustrations, and a meticulously detailed map of the vibrant and chaotic city of New Crobuzon.
