Contrary to what the trophy name might suggest, you're not hunting dragons. Your target? The elusive Curioshell Crab, easily captured with your trusty Capture Net.
While these crabs can pop up in various locations, the Scarlet Forest offers a reliable hunting ground. Head to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp (located between Areas 2 and 6). Near the water puddle in this area, you'll find a prime Curioshell Crab spawning spot. If you're having trouble spotting it, listen for Alma; she'll mention a creature holding something, confirming a nearby crab.
Equip your Capture Net, aim for an orange reticle, and fire! A successful capture nets you both the Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin. Remember, these crabs are speedy, so anticipate their movement.
While the Scarlet Forest (Area 6 and Area 8) offers good odds, you might also find Curioshell Crabs in Windward Plains, Area 13. Keep an eye out in other map areas as well.
