Marvel Rivals' Season 1 Unveils Invisible Woman's "Malice" Skin and Major Content Update
Get ready for the debut of Invisible Woman's first new skin, Malice, in Marvel Rivals! Launching alongside Season 1 on January 10th, this skin showcases a darker, more villainous side of the iconic hero.
Beyond the exciting new cosmetic, Season 1: Eternal Night Falls promises a substantial update. Expect fresh maps, a new game mode, and a comprehensive battle pass brimming with rewards. The update drops January 10th at 1 AM PST.
Malice, as depicted in the comics, represents Sue Storm's darker persona. This alternate identity engaged in villainous acts, even confronting Mister Fantastic and her family. The in-game skin reflects this, featuring a revealing black leather outfit with red accents, spiked armor, and a dramatic split cape.
NetEase Games revealed Malice in a recent Twitter post, highlighting the skin's darker aesthetic, similar to Mister Fantastic's "Maker" skin. The Malice skin will be available upon Season 1's launch.
Invisible Woman's Gameplay and Strategic Role
A recent gameplay trailer showcased Invisible Woman's abilities. She's a support-focused character, capable of healing allies with her primary attack and providing a protective shield. Her ultimate ability creates an invisible healing zone, offering both protection and restorative power. However, she's not solely a support; she also possesses offensive capabilities, including an ability to knock back enemies using a created tunnel.
Season Structure and Future Content
NetEase Games confirmed that seasons in Marvel Rivals will run approximately three months, with significant mid-season updates around six to seven weeks in. These updates will introduce new maps, characters, and balance adjustments. While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut in Season 1, Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later, in a mid-season update.
