Six Invitational 2025 Format
The format remains unchanged from 2024, but let's break it down for those new to the scene. The tournament is divided into two phases: the group stage and the double elimination playoff.
During the group stage, teams are divided into four groups and compete in a round-robin format. Each match is crucial, not only for survival but also for securing a better seeding in the playoffs.
The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs with significant advantages. The top four teams will start in the upper bracket and skip the first round, securing at least a 9th to 12th place finish. Teams finishing second and third in their groups will also start in the upper bracket but from round one, giving them the chance to lose one match without being eliminated. Teams in fourth place will enter the playoffs in the lower bracket, where every match is a must-win situation. Unfortunately, teams finishing fifth in their groups will be eliminated.
