Who Are the Draenei in Hearthstone's Great Dark Beyond?
The Draenei are a new, cosmic minion type. Fans of Warcraft lore will recognize them as the "Exiled Ones," refugees fleeing the Burning Legion. Now, they roam the Great Dark Beyond in Hearthstone, searching for a new home.
As a permanent minion type, they bring a nomadic feel, often with effects that benefit subsequent Draenei played. Their unity around Velen, their leader, creates a sense of cosmic family resilience.
The core theme of The Great Dark Beyond centers around customizable Starships. You'll collect Starship Pieces throughout the expansion, playing them as regular minions. When defeated, their stats and effects are absorbed into your Starship, transforming it into a powerful vessel for deployment.
