The Marvel Rivals Spring Festival is here, brimming with free rewards! The star prize? A free Star-Lord outfit. Here’s how to snag it during the Fortune & Colors event.
How to Get the Free Star-Lord Skin in Marvel Rivals’ Fortune & Colors Event
This event uses a special in-game currency called Danqing (represented by a paintbrush icon). You earn Danqing by completing challenges in the new Clash of Dancing Lions mode, as well as Quick Play and Competitive matches.
While daily challenges vary, the event challenges remain consistent. Here are the currently available Fortune & Colors quests:
- Complete 3 Clash of Dancing Lions matches.
- Intercept the ball 3 times in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match.
Once you've collected enough Danqing, head to the event pass to unlock rewards. Unlocking the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane skin requires 900 Danqing. That might seem like a lot, but with the event running until February 14th, you have plenty of time to complete the necessary challenges.

Try the Star-Lord Skin Without Unlocking It
Don't want to grind? You can still try the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane skin! Clash of Dancing Lions, a Rocket League-style mode, features Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist (all with Spring Festival skins). Simply playing this mode lets you use these skins.
If you enjoy the skins, consider the Dancing Lions bundle in the in-game store. It offers the Iron Fist Lion’s Gaze and Black Widow Lion’s Heartbeat skins for 2,800 Units (approximately $20). This is a good deal compared to buying the skins individually.
