Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" expansion arrives today, introducing exciting new features! The update centers around a Buddy System, along with map overhauls and fresh events.
Adorable Companions
The star of the show is the Buddy System. These cute pets add a touch of charm to the battlefield and offer in-game assistance.
Two buddy types exist: Common and Archon. Common Buddies are easily acquired and possess helpful abilities. Archon Buddies, rarer counterparts, boast powerful skills.
To obtain Buddies, you'll need Buddy Orbs, found scattered across the map. Each Orb can hold up to six tactical items, making them versatile tools.
Ten Buddies debut in this expansion: common Buddies like Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy; and Archon Buddies, the Time Dominator and Storm Empress. The Time Dominator can manipulate the Safe Zone, while the Storm Empress unleashes powerful tornadoes.

More Than Just Buddies! -----------------------The Sunder Realms map receives a significant upgrade, featuring new terrain, structures, and landmarks. Expect ramps, improved buildings, giant duck statues, and floating boulders!
A new Tactical Core system lets you upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities using Trait points earned through leveling up. However, Trait Activation Cards are needed to fully maximize these abilities.
