While Mechwarrior enjoyed its prime in the late '90s and early 2000s, the genre has since been represented mainly by Mechwarrior 5 and Clans, which, despite their contentious nature, are still praiseworthy. It's a pleasant surprise to see a spiritual successor like Exoloper hitting iOS, and while it may not delve as deeply into mech simulation as Mechwarrior, it promises a high level of immersion nonetheless.
