How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
New monsters are frequently added to E.R.P.O., so I highly recommend bookmarking this page for regular updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to handle each specific monster. While there are general strategies applicable to all, you can also use weapons like:
- Melee Combat: From the Machete to the Hammer, these can be purchased in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. They'll be available in your next level. Use M1 to pick them up and swing at monsters. Be cautious against ranged attackers like the Huntsman. I recommend using a hit-and-run tactic to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee encounters.
- Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades are picked up with M1, uncorked with E, and thrown or placed on the ground to explode, causing massive damage. Mines are placed and detonated when stepped on by a monster.
- Monster Brawl: You can manipulate monster interactions to your advantage. For instance, bait a Huntsman to shoot another monster by running behind it and making noise through walking or Voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe is a shadowy ghost that will grab and damage you upon contact. To evade it, crouch and hide or keep kiting it around. You can also use 2 Grenades or 2 Mines to kill it by luring it into the blast radius. Avoid melee combat as the Robe deals significant damage and can teleport, especially when you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper is a raggedy doll with sword arms that spins to deal melee damage. While it can be kited or avoided like the Robe, it's more susceptible to melee attacks due to its lower damage output. One grenade combined with a couple of melee hits can take it down, and grenades and mines can stun it.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked. They become aggressive if grabbed or damaged, flying and biting at you with low damage but relentless pursuit. The best strategies are to outrun them or use melee weapons. Grenades are overkill given their low health.
Huntsman

The Huntsman is a blind marksman who can one-shot you. He relies on sound, triggered by your voice in Voice chat mode or fast movement. To avoid detection, crouch with C and hide under tables. Avoid melee combat due to his auto-aim. Instead, place a mine in his path or throw a grenade while crouched. The explosion will temporarily deafen him, giving you a window to attack with melee weapons.
