The Max Out season, kicking off on September 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time and running until September 15, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, introduces the thrilling Dynamax feature. This new addition will be complemented by a variety of in-game events and enticing rewards, making your Pokémon GO experience even more exciting.
As the Max Out season begins, trainers will encounter the following Dynamax Pokémon in 1-star Max Battles, ready to be battled and caught:
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Skwovet
- Wooloo
Once caught, these Pokémon and their evolved forms can be Dynamaxed, adding a new layer of strategy to your battles. Keep an eye out for Shiny variants, as they might appear during these encounters. Alongside the Dynamax battles, special Field Research tasks will be introduced during the event. Trainers can also participate in PokéStop Showcases, showcasing their event-themed Pokémon for a chance to win exciting rewards.
But that's not all! A Seasonal Special Research story will be available, focusing on Max Battles. By completing these tasks, trainers can earn valuable rewards such as Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more. This Special Research can be claimed from September 3 at 10:00 a.m. local time until December 3, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
For those eager to dive deeper into the Dynamax experience, an exclusive Max Particle Pack Bundle will be available on the official Pokémon GO web store. Starting September 8, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, you can purchase this bundle for $7.99, which includes 4,800 Max Particles essential for your Dynamax battles.
