Sony Pictures has unveiled the much-anticipated release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, set to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. The announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed their acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto's gripping narrative to the big screen this fall. US audiences can mark their calendars for late October, while over 80 other countries will witness the film's premiere on September 24, 2025. Toho will handle the film's release in Japan, scheduled for September 19, 2025.

First announced in December 2023, the Chainsaw Man movie continues directly from the acclaimed MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life through a pact with a devil named Pochita. This alliance grants Denji the unique ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into the thrilling world of devil hunting.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc introduces the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the story.
