ChillyRoom's highly anticipated action roguelike, Shadow of the Depth, is currently in open beta on Android. Excitingly, there will be no data wipe upon official release, allowing players to retain their progress. This open beta provides a chance to experience the game, offer feedback to the developers, and keep your achievements.
ChillyRoom, known for successful titles like Soul Knight and Meow Hunter, plans a December 2024 launch. Currently, the open beta is limited to specific regions.
Shadow of the Depth Open Beta Availability:
The open beta is live in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, UK, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. Players in these regions can download the beta for free. A full release is expected later this year for other regions.
In-Beta Rewards:
Players logging in during the open beta (before December 5th) will receive 200 diamonds as a reward for their participation in testing.
Gameplay Overview:
Shadow of the Depth presents a medieval-themed action roguelike experience. Players assume the role of Arthur, a blacksmith's son seeking revenge after a monster attack on his village. Joined by swordsmen, hunters, and mages, Arthur delves into a monster-infested abyss.
Gameplay involves combat against enemies, navigating randomized dungeons filled with traps, and challenging boss encounters. With over 140 passive skills and a robust talent system, players can extensively customize their character build. The game offers single-player gameplay with controller support.
