Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. Counterintuitively, this method leverages the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character.
The exploit's mechanics are surprisingly straightforward. Utilizing the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst in conjunction with Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) is key. By strategically placing numerous Xiao Lanterns near a boss and activating the Elemental Burst, the boss's health plummets dramatically.
This amplified damage stems from the Elemental Burst's interaction with objects, significantly increasing its AoE damage. Deploying a large number of lanterns—perhaps a hundred—can result in millions of damage points.
While this exploit is undoubtedly temporary and likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to overcome challenging boss encounters.
