Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: *My Time at Sandrock* is making its way to mobile devices! The game, which was released on PC in 2023 by Pathea Games, is the much-anticipated sequel to 2019's *My Time at Portia*. On Steam, it's published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment, while the upcoming mobile beta test in China is being managed by Conscience Studio.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This marks the first-ever mobile test for *My Time at Sandrock*. The developers are treating it as a technical trial to assess how well the game adapts to the mobile platform. They're still fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so participants should be prepared for some initial hiccups.
The beta test is exclusive to Android users in China and will be conducted through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you're in China and interested, you can apply until January 22nd. The actual testing begins on January 23rd.
Keep in mind that your progress will be reset at the end of the test. However, you'll have the chance to start anew and explore the first 30 days of in-game content, which spans the first 13 chapters. For those eager to participate, visit the official beta test page for more details.
What’s the Story?
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert 300 years after the Day of Calamity, *My Time at Sandrock* plunges you into a world where modern technology was obliterated. You arrive in Sandrock as the town's newest Builder, equipped with your tools and ready to make a difference.
Your daily tasks will involve gathering resources, crafting machines, building relationships with the locals, and even fending off monsters. The game's art style is delightfully quirky and charming, as you can see in the trailer below:
