Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia present a high-risk, high-reward scenario. This guide details their usage and potential outcomes.

Strategic Placement is Key: Due to the inherent risks, utilize Tarot Cards in a safe zone, preferably near a hiding spot or the entrance. This provides an escape route should an unfavorable card, such as Death, be drawn.

Understanding the Draw: Each card instantly activates upon use. However, The Fool card (a wildcard) produces no effect. You can draw up to ten cards without sanity penalties, and duplicates yield the same effect.

Card Effects and Probabilities: Ten unique cards exist within the deck, each with a specific effect and draw probability:

Cursed Possessions in Phasmophobia: An Overview

Cursed Objects in Phasmophobia

Cursed Possessions are high-risk items that randomly appear in Phasmophobia, offering gameplay manipulation at the cost of increased danger. Unlike standard equipment, they provide shortcuts but significantly increase the risk to your character. The choice to use them is entirely strategic. Only one spawns per contract (unless modified in Custom settings), each in a predetermined location. Seven Cursed Possessions exist in the game: Haunted Mirror, Voodoo Doll, Music Box, Tarot Cards, Ouija Board, Monkey Paw, and Summoning Circle.
