Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free, Early-Game Powerhouse
Stalker 2 offers a range of armor suits to enhance survival in The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a valuable member of the SEVA series, stands out as a free and readily accessible option early in the game, providing excellent PSI protection. Here's how to acquire it:
Locating the SEVA-V Suit
The SEVA-V suit is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is southwest of the Rostok base, marked by a crashed helicopter within an Electro anomaly field and a large, rusty crane. Reaching the suit requires some climbing.
Accessing the Crane and the Suit
Upon arriving at the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll see the crashed helicopter to the right (within the Electro anomaly) and a ladder leading up the crane to the left. Before climbing, use an artifact detector to retrieve an Electro-type artifact from the anomaly – a helpful precaution.
Ascend the crane using the ladder. Once at the top, proceed right across the crane to the operator's cabin on the left. Carefully jump the gap to the cabin. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend.
SEVA-V Suit Stats and Uses
The SEVA-V suit, upgradable by Rostok base technician Screw, boasts high radiation protection and decent PSI protection. It allows for four artifact slots. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
