Marvel's animated Spider-Man series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, is already slated for three seasons on Disney+. Production is well underway, with Season 2 scripts complete and half the storyboards finished, according to Marvel Studios head of streaming, television, and animation, Brad Winderbaum. Season 3 has also received the green light.
Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating that the payoff from the groundwork laid in Season 1 will be significant. He anticipates the emotional connection with the characters deepening across the seasons. He's scheduled to meet with lead writer and executive producer Jeff Trammell in a few weeks to discuss the Season 3 pitch. However, release dates for Seasons 2 and 3 remain unannounced.
