Radiangames has announced Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series. Boasting a similar visual style and high-octane gameplay, this PC title follows the original mobile game and is slated for release later this year.
The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." They assure players, "It sounds unusual, but it's immediately intuitive once you start playing."

Speed Demons 2 offers ten game modes, including the intensely competitive Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all echoing the destructive spirit of Burnout Road Rage. Players must eliminate other cars within a time limit. For a different challenge, Scratchless mode mirrors Burnout's Burning Lap, requiring players to reach the finish line with minimal vehicle damage.
