Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling new free DLC called Emerald Diorama, which introduces a unique crossover with Square Enix’s renowned fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This update is the most significant expansion to the game to date, bringing a fresh layer of JRPG excitement to the Vampire Survivors universe.
Emerald Diorama Infuses JRPG Elements into Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces an innovative new stage designed as a mini world map, offering players the chance to experience world-hopping adventures. This expansion features over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers of cursed songs, enhancing the game’s diversity and charm.
Players can now access more than 16 new weapons and engage with the new Glimmer system, which allows for the random acquisition of new skills during gameplay. Additionally, the soundtrack expands with nine new music tracks, enriching the auditory experience of Vampire Survivors.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players should navigate to Moongolow and interact with a new merchant to purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold. From there, they can unlock the new content step by step.
A novel feature in this DLC is the introduction of character parties, allowing players to form their own mini squads for enhanced gameplay dynamics. For a closer look at what Emerald Diorama offers, check out the launch trailer below:
The DLC also includes two new Adventures, each comprising six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" complements the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" extends the new DLC's content.
Alongside the DLC, Another Free Update Enhances the Base Game
In addition to the Emerald Diorama, Vampire Survivors has released another free update titled The Coop, centered around chickens. This update introduces Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.
Players can unlock various achievements and access Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks the full potential of The Coop update. A useful tip for players is to avoid killing any enemies for the first minute of gameplay in The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea, which can be further evolved with Parm Aegis to unlock Gazebo.
Vampire Survivors, along with the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop, is available on the Google Play Store. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing players to continue their progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS devices.
