This guide details how to obtain and utilize Old Coins in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. These coins become valuable later in the game, offering significant rewards.
Using Old Coins
Old Coins are unusable until after completing specific main story battles in Chapter 2:
- Suppression of You Province
- Suppression of Jing Province
- Suppression of Liang Province
Completing these unlocks the Shui Jing Retreat near Ji City. Here, you can exchange Old Coins with Sima Hui for various rewards. Rewards are tiered, granted upon reaching specific coin thresholds. Always exchange your coins when passing by.

- Letters found in the Inn after story events.
- Regional Peace rewards at Waypoints.
Focus on gameplay; the Old Coins will accumulate organically. The rewards are valuable, but not crucial for early game progression.
