If you're a fan of Monster Hunter Now and have been craving a bigger challenge, you're in luck! Niantic is rolling out a new feature called Monster Outbreak, and it's set to shake things up. From April 26th to 27th, this feature is entering a testing phase, giving players a chance to dive in and share their feedback.
During a Monster Outbreak, you'll encounter a massive number of a single monster type in a specific area. To participate, you must be within range and team up with other hunters—solo play won't cut it here! The goal is straightforward: team up and slay as many monsters as you can to hit a target of 100.
The inaugural monster for these outbreaks is the formidable eight-star Black Diablos. You'll be facing off against this beast exclusively throughout the event. By signing up on the roster, you can not only register your interest but also earn an exclusive hunter medal. Successfully completing the Outbreak will reward you with various monster parts.
Culling monstersMonster Outbreaks are designed to add a fresh twist to the game and offer an extended challenge for those eager to test their skills.
Niantic is keen to hear your thoughts on this new feature. Make sure to share your feedback through the community forum or on social media to help shape the future of Monster Hunter Now.
