Reliable sources suggest Fortnite is about to unleash a new Wolverine skin, based on his iconic Weapon X appearance. This isn't Fortnite's first foray into Marvel collaborations; the game boasts numerous Marvel character skins, including several X-Men, like Gambit, Rogue, Mystique, and recently, Magneto. Wolverine himself already has multiple outfits in the game, dating back to Chapter 2, Season 4.
This upcoming skin, however, is special. It's the infamous Weapon X outfit, reflecting Wolverine's origins as a government experiment – a killing machine with an Adamantium skeleton and primal instincts. This look has featured prominently in various movies and games, including X-Men Legends and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Leaker Shiina predicts a July 5th release, part of a five-item cosmetic set. HYPEX, another prominent leaker, suggests an even earlier release between June 28th and July 2nd. While neither source offers a guarantee, both believe the skin will arrive early next month.
Rumors also swirl about a possible Chapter 5, Season 4 return of Galactus, but like the Weapon X release date, this remains unconfirmed by Epic Games.
