Assassin’s Creed’s iconic protagonist, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, has emerged victorious in Ubisoft Japan’s Character Awards! The online competition, launched in honor of Ubisoft Japan’s 30th anniversary, aimed to spotlight the most beloved characters across their entire catalog. The voting period kicked off on November 1st, 2024, allowing fans to cast their votes for their top three favorites on Ubisoft Japan’s dedicated 30th anniversary webpage.
The much-anticipated top five results were revealed today on Ubisoft Japan’s official website and X (formerly Twitter), with Ezio proudly taking first place. To mark this milestone, a special page on the site now features Ezio in a unique artistic style. Fans can also grab four exclusive digital wallpapers for their PCs and smartphones, celebrating Ezio’s triumph. Moreover, 30 lucky fans will have the chance to win a special acrylic stand set featuring Ezio through a lottery, while another 10 will receive an exclusive 180 cm jumbo body pillow adorned with Ezio’s image.
In addition to Ezio, Ubisoft showcased the top ten characters from the poll. Watch Dogs’ protagonist, Aiden Pearce, secured second place, while Edward James Kenway from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag claimed third.

- 5th: Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (Assassin’s Creed)
- 6th: Wrench (Watch Dogs)
- 7th: Pagan Min (Far Cry)
- 8th: Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla)
- 9th: Kassandra (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey)
- 10th: Aaron Keener (The Division 2)
Alongside the character poll, a separate survey was conducted for Ubisoft’s game series as franchises. Unsurprisingly, Assassin’s Creed topped the list, followed by Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs in second and third places, respectively. The Division series secured fourth place, with Far Cry rounding out the top five.
