EA Shuts Down

EA's popular mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is closing its doors after a twelve-year run. Launched in 2012 on the App Store and 2013 on Google Play, this city-building game allowed players to recreate their own version of Springfield.

The Shutdown Timeline:

In-app purchases are already unavailable. The game will be removed from app stores on October 31st, 2024. Servers will finally shut down on January 24th, 2025. EA expressed gratitude to its players for their decade-long support.

One Last Chance to Play?

If you've never experienced the chaos of rebuilding Springfield after Homer's nuclear mishap, now's your chance! Manage the town's reconstruction, interact with beloved characters like Marge, Lisa, Bart, and Fat Tony, and even expand to Springfield Heights and run the Kwik-E-Mart.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a freemium game, regularly updated with content tied to the show and real-world events. Donuts are the in-game currency that fuels the fun.

Download the game from the Google Play Store before it's gone. And don't miss our article on eBaseball: MLB Pro Spirit, another exciting mobile game launching this fall!
