Square Enix brings the popular Dragon Quest Monsters series to mobile with the release of Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. Following its December 2023 launch on Nintendo Switch, this seventh installment in the franchise offers a unique twist.
Who is the Dark Prince?
Players take on the role of Psaro, a young man cursed by his father, the Master of Monsterkind, rendering him unable to harm monsters. To lift this curse, Psaro embarks on a journey to become a Monster Wrangler, teaming up with monsters to ascend the ranks and ultimately challenge his father. Fans of Dragon Quest IV will recognize Psaro as the game's villain, but this mobile version presents his story from a new perspective.
Explore the world of Nadiria!
The game unfolds in the magical world of Nadiria, where dynamic weather and changing seasons significantly impact gameplay. Recruit, train, and even fuse over 500 unique monsters, from adorable creatures to bizarre behemoths, each appearing based on the current weather conditions, ensuring constant discovery.
