How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To embark on your journey to the cat island, you'll need to head to the Omi region, which you'll reach around the midpoint of the game's story. Ensure your characters are well-prepared for the challenges ahead, then start traveling northeast to reach Omi.

Your destination is within Lake Biwa, the expansive body of water central to the region. It's highly advisable to secure a boat from nearby settlements like Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, you can swim to reach your target, though a boat is far more convenient.

Your goal is the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, northwest of Azuchi. Navigate to this island, known as Okishima, where you'll find a Kakurega for resting. The presence of fish drying near the docks hints at the abundance of food for certain animals.

To immerse yourself in the feline paradise on Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll notice an increasing number of cats. Don't miss the opportunity to pet them, especially the rare kittens, to add them to your collection for your Hideout.

While Leaps of Faith typically reveal new map locations, the true treasure on Okishima is your newfound feline companions. After exploring and landing in the haystack, there's not much else to do here but enjoy the cats. You'll also revisit this island later in Yasuke’s storyline.
