Discover the groundbreaking infinite damage build in Diablo 4 that's causing server lag. Dive into the details of this build and explore the fan concerns surrounding the Berserk collaboration.
Diablo 4 Latest Updates
Infinite Damage Build Boss Powers Makes Servers Lag
Diablo 4's latest season introduces new seasonal boss powers that, when harnessed correctly, can create an infinite damage build, leading to server slowdowns. On May 9, YouTuber Macrobioboi shared a video demonstrating this potent build, which obliterates a room full of enemies using specific boss powers combined with a Legendary Aspect.
To execute this build, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect on their gear, which inflicts a Vulnerable status effect on enemies, enhancing damage output. Crucially, this Aspect ensures the Vulnerable status persists until the enemy's demise.
The build also utilizes the Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power, which typically stuns enemies and removes the Vulnerable effect. However, due to the Vampiric Curse, the stun effect repeats indefinitely. Adding to this, Varshan's Life Steal boss power inflicts substantial damage each time a boss power is activated.
The combination of these elements results in numerous calculations, causing server lag. As showcased in wudijo's YouTube video, the screen is overwhelmed with skills and abilities, leaving enemies perpetually stunned. Wudijo remarked, "There are a lot of calculations going on, it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."
Blizzard Entertainment has yet to address this resource-heavy build, allowing players to continue exploiting it, albeit at the cost of increased lag.
Worrying Prices with Berserk Collab
In other news, Diablo 4 is collaborating with the iconic manga Berserk, introducing a range of cosmetics and items. However, the high prices of these sets are causing fan concern.
Players can earn Behelits by playing the game and use them to unlock free cosmetics from the Berserk Reliquary, including:
- Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
- Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
- Brand of Sacrifice Marking
- Foretold Eclipse Headstone
- Od of the Berserker Emblem
The true allure of the collaboration lies in the premium sets available for purchase with Diablo 4’s premium currency, Platinum. These sets feature iconic armors and designs from Berserk:
- The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
- The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
- The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
- The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
- The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
- Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum
Each premium skin costs approximately $28, which is nearly half the price of the base game. Acquiring the entire collection would set players back $150 or require purchasing a 15,000 Platinum bundle, which includes an additional 3,500 Platinum.
Despite the high-quality offerings, the steep pricing has fans reconsidering their purchases. This pricing model mirrors Diablo 4's previous collaboration with World of Warcraft, hinting at similar pricing for future IP crossovers. Fans may need to budget carefully to enjoy these events.
