How To Become Godzilla in Fortnite
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will appear randomly on the Battle Royale island in Fortnite Chapter 6. Be the first player to find and jump into this rift, and you'll transform into Godzilla himself! It's a race against the clock and a test of your luck.
As Godzilla, you'll command three devastating moves: a Roar to pinpoint nearby players, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send foes flying, and the iconic Heat Ray for massive damage. Get ready for a thrilling, albeit short-lived, reign of terror—the other 99 players will be teaming up to take you down!

How To Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite
If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, don't worry! You'll have the chance to participate in an epic battle. Godzilla has weak points; targeting these will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, granting you 40 health and three dash charges—essential for mobility during this intense encounter.
The Rail Gun has been unvaulted for this event, offering a powerful tool for dealing significant damage quickly. Higher-rarity weapons are also effective, so prioritize looting. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla will receive the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with its own dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher—a fantastic consolation prize for not becoming the monster yourself.
Conquering Godzilla adds a serious bragging right to your Fortnite resume. So even if you don't become the monster, you can still achieve victory!
