The Dark God's Violin is the first and story-critical Dark Instrument. Unlocked during Chapter 2, a crew member (Jason) leads you to a meeting with an old friend. This encounter introduces the Devil Flag pirates, who have killed Jason's friend and stolen the Pharaoh Stone. You'll meet Misaki, the friend's daughter, who joins your crew seeking revenge, initiating the side quest. Following the questline leads you to islands east of Madlantis. A challenging battle against a superior Devil Flag fleet awaits; focus your attacks on the boss ship to board and defeat them, earning the Dark God's Violin. A subsequent 100-enemy brawl lets you test your new finisher.
Defeating the Devil Flags on the island triggers a cutscene introducing the fleet captains: Yakuza, Ronin, Shinobi, and Zeus.
