Onimusha: Way of the Sword – A 2026 Edo Period Adventure
Launching in 2026, Onimusha: Way of the Sword promises compelling characters, a new protagonist, and engaging enemies within a historically accurate recreation of Kyoto. The game emphasizes visceral sword combat, challenging players without being overly difficult. The protagonist, through a twist of fate, will wield an Oni Gauntlet, fueled by the souls of defeated Genma.
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny – Remastered for 2025
A remastered version of the 2002 classic, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, is slated for release in 2025, bridging the gap until Onimusha: Way of the Sword's arrival.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 – Arkveld Awaits
The second Open Beta for Monster Hunter Wilds introduces the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging advanced quest. Other additions include a Gypceros Hunt, a training area, Private Lobbies, and Online Single Player mode. Data from the first beta can be transferred. The beta runs:
- Thursday, February 6 at 7pm PT to Sunday, February 9 at 6:59pm PT
- Thursday, February 13 at 7pm PT to Sunday, February 16 at 6:59pm PT
Character data transfers to the full game (February 28th release), but progress does not. Participants receive a special Pendant.
Monster Hunter Wilds – Iceshard Cliffs and New Threats
