Those who missed Season 1 still have time to catch up before the April premiere of Season 2. Unlike the first season, which adapted the entirety of the first game, Season 2 will expand upon The Last of Us Part II, spanning multiple seasons and utilizing a "natural breakpoint" after seven episodes. New cast members include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Tati Gabrielle as Mel. Catherine O'Hara's role remains shrouded in mystery.

IGN's review of Season 1 lauded it as a "stunning adaptation," awarding it a 9/10 score.
