Streamer Aces Legendary Guitar Hero Track at 200%

by Elijah Dec 26,2025

Clone Hero streamer and content creator CarnyJared has accomplished a flawless full combo (FC) on DragonForce's notoriously difficult Guitar Hero 3 track, "Through the Fire and Flames" — while playing at 200% speed.

The streamer's own caption perfectly sums it up: "IT. IS. OVER." Published on February 27, footage documents the incredible, record-setting feat CarnyJared achieved live on stream. As he begins his final, successful run to hit all 3,722 notes perfectly, on-screen text reminds audiences that this climactic moment culminates a dedicated nine-month practice journey.

"I'm profoundly grateful to everyone who supported me during this insane grind. I truly have the best community on Twitch and YouTube," CarnyJared states in the video description.

"We've all spent an unbelievable amount of time studying those same 3,722 notes, analyzing every possible way to hit them more efficiently. Somehow, it paid off. Thanks to your collective support, I'm able to sit at this computer you helped provide and make a living playing Clone Hero."

"Through the Fire and Flames" at normal speed is already overwhelming to watch, so witnessing CarnyJared tear through the song at 200% velocity feels almost impossible to follow. There's little left to say; flawlessly completing a seven-and-a-half-minute song in just over three minutes is a staggering achievement.

Securing an FC in the open-source game Clone Hero requires playing an entire song without missing a single note. On-screen stats from the stream show he had nearly 2,000 FC attempts that passed the first bridge, only 662 that passed the second, and a mere 227 that reached the solo section. The 200% FC showcased today represents only the fourth time CarnyJared has successfully navigated the song's intense solo.

"This is a moment I will carry with me forever."

"I'm blessed every single day to wake up with food in the kitchen and a roof over my head, all thanks to this amazing group of people," CarnyJared continues. "I also thank my family, who have not only supported me my entire life but also specifically followed and cheered me on throughout this entire grind, through the lowest lows and highest highs. This is a moment I will carry with me forever."

He described the 200% FC as the "most difficult challenge" of his life, making the celebratory outburst following his successful run a fitting release after nine months of relentless effort. For those curious about how such a superhuman feat is possible in the world of Guitar Hero and Clone Hero, CarnyJared hinted that a documentary over an hour long is in the works and expected within the next few months.
