What's Coming?
Get ready for Group Ironman mode, launching later this year! Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative challenge without external assistance. It's pure teamwork against the game world.
This autumn, brave The Gate of Elidinis, a challenging new skilling boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth. This thrilling experience is part of a larger story quest.
Expect a flurry of story quests throughout 2024 and 2025. Winter brings a new quest revisiting classic storylines, returning players to the Desert for a showdown with Amascut. This culminates in a brand-new end-game boss fight against Amascut, the Devourer.
Over 110 skilling updates are planned! This year features Woodcutting & Fletching updates, including a new skill tree and weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates arrive in 2025.
Seasonal fun is also on the agenda! The Harvest Hollow seasonal event arrives later this year, bringing a new quest, spooky rewards, and themed activities. The popular Christmas Village event returns at year's end with new quests, festive fun, and holiday rewards.
Excited for the Future of RuneScape?
A major new area expansion is planned for late 2025. Many player-requested features are also in the pipeline, including new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a new Slayer Monster.
