- The event will feature the Pokémon Jangmo-o
- Special Research tasks and encounters will also be available
It's been an exciting few weeks for Pokémon Go, with the announcement of the upcoming Road Trip event, June content release, and the Delightful Days Battle League. The momentum continues as we share details for the Community Day scheduled for June 21st, 2025.
The featured Pokémon for June's Community Day is Jangmo-o, which will appear more frequently throughout the event, including occasional Shiny encounters. If you evolve Jangmo-o into Hakamo-o and then into Kommo-o between the event's start and June 28th, your Kommo-o will already know the Charged Attack Clanging Scales.
As always, dedicated trainers can look forward to Community Day Special Research and Special Background Timed Research. The Special Research will be available for $1.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency), offering tasks centered around catching increased numbers of Jangmo-o.
Well-researchedEven if you skip the Special Research, you can still participate through Field Research. Catching Jangmo-o will reward you with Stardust, Great Balls, and additional encounters with the featured Pokémon. Some of these encounters may feature the new Delightful Days-themed special background.
