Pokémon Go's Holiday Event: Part Two Details Revealed!
Get ready for even more festive fun in Pokémon Go! Niantic has announced the details for Part Two of their Holiday Event, running from December 22nd to 27th. This exciting second phase builds upon the first, offering increased bonuses, new Pokémon encounters, and engaging challenges.
Part Two boasts double XP for catching Pokémon and a 50% XP boost for Raid Battles. Make sure to look out for the debut of holiday-themed Dedenne, Wooloo, and Dubwool – and keep your fingers crossed for a shiny encounter!
From December 25th to January 5th, Daily Adventure Incense will be doubled in duration, providing ample opportunities to catch Pokémon. Explore the wild to discover Alolan Rattata, Murkrow, Blitzle, Tynamo, Absol, and other exciting finds.
Raids will feature a variety of Pokémon: Litwick and Cetoddle in one-star raids, Snorlax and Banette in three-star raids, and Giratina headlining five-star raids. Mega Raids will include Mega Latios and Abomasnow.
For those who prefer quests, Field Research Tasks offer encounters with event-themed Pokémon. A paid Timed Research ($5) provides additional rewards, including a Glacial Lure Module, two Incense, a Wooloo Jacket, and more encounters. A special Collection Challenge focusing on catching and raiding will reward Stardust, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.
