Cancellation of Omori's Physical European Release

The announcement, made via Twitter (X), has left many fans disappointed. While the publisher offered no further details beyond the initial statement regarding localization difficulties, a history of delays contributed to the ultimate cancellation.

Initially slated for a March 2023 release, the European physical edition was subsequently pushed back to December 2023, then March 2024, and finally to January 2025. Pre-orders through retailers like Amazon ultimately resulted in cancellation notifications. This string of postponements culminated in the recent announcement of the complete cancellation.

This is particularly disheartening for European fans, as it prevents the official release of a Spanish and other localized European language versions. While the game remains available digitally, physical copies can only be obtained through importing from regions like the US.
