Old School RuneScape Mobile Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with Massive Update!
Jagex has unleashed a significant update for Old School RuneScape's mobile version, marking its sixth anniversary. This anniversary update is packed with features designed to enhance and streamline gameplay. Let's dive into the key improvements.
Enhanced User Experience and Customization
The core focus is on player customization and improved usability. A revamped mobile UI allows for personalized arrangement of interface elements. The addition of Side Stones provides quick access to inventory, gear, spells, and friends, making combat and general gameplay more efficient.
Five customizable hotkeys are now available directly on the screen, with the ability to save up to three different layouts for seamless transitions between activities. Switching between these layouts is incredibly easy.
Streamlined Gameplay and Information Access
The Menu Entry Swapper (MES) lets players modify interactions with NPCs and items to suit their preferred playstyle. A new Popout Panel offers real-time access to XP tracking, ground item indicators, and other helpful information. Finally, HiScores have been integrated into the mobile client, allowing players to track their progress and compare rankings.
