Nexon bids farewell to Dynasty Warriors M, the popular mobile spin-off of the iconic Dynasty Warriors franchise. The game's servers will officially shut down on February 20th, 2025, bringing an end to epic battles and strategic conquests.
In-app purchases were ceased on December 19th, 2024, preceding the official end-of-service announcement. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, no specific reason for the closure was given. The game's relatively short lifespan, launched in November 2023, and apparent underperformance likely contributed to this decision.
Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of action-packed Musou gameplay and strategic elements. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, conquering castles across a vast map encompassing 13 regions and 500 stages. The game also featured a story mode covering significant historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
