Fans of Marvel's Moon Knight, portrayed by Oscar Isaac, can look forward to seeing more of the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), though not through a second season of the Disney+ series. According to Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television, the strategy for Marvel's TV shows has shifted since Moon Knight debuted in 2022. Previously, the focus was on introducing characters through their own shows, setting the stage for future tie-ins, much like how Kamala Khan was introduced in Ms. Marvel before appearing in The Marvels.
However, Marvel Television is now adopting a more traditional television model, aiming for shows that release annually. Winderbaum noted, "So I think Marvel Television has happened in waves, and I think Moon Knight happened in a wave of shows that were going to establish characters that would tie-in to the future. And moving forward our priorities have shifted. We’re making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television. I would love to see a Moon Knight Season 2, but there are plans for Moon Knight down the road."

While Isaac lent his voice to Moon Knight in the third and final season of the animated series Marvel’s What If…?, there hasn’t been any confirmation yet regarding his return in a live-action format. The MCU's upcoming slate of TV shows includes Daredevil: Born Again premiering in March, Ironheart in June, Eyes of Wakanda in August, Marvel Zombies in October, and Wonder Man in December.
Recent reports indicate that Marvel Television has temporarily halted production on three shows: Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc. However, Winderbaum disclosed that the company is exploring the possibility of bringing back the street-level heroes Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, collectively known as The Defenders.
