Just a few short weeks after developer Dreamcube launched Miraibo GO on mobile and PC, the first in-game season has arrived, perfectly timed for Halloween. Dubbed Abyssal Souls, this season brings all the chilling thrills you'd expect from a Halloween event, combined with the exciting features you'd find in a newly released game that's already amassed over 100,000 downloads on Android alone.
For those new to Miraibo GO, it's the mobile equivalent of PalWorld, where players explore a vast open-world environment in search of monsters called Mira. These creatures, numbering over a hundred, vary wildly in form, from massive reptilians to tiny, cute bird-like and mammal-esque beings. Each Mira possesses unique skills, abilities, and elemental affinities, requiring strategic choices in battles across different terrains like sandy beaches, chilly mountaintops, tranquil grasslands, or searing deserts.
Beyond capturing and battling Mira, players return to their bases to manage these creatures, using them for building, gathering resources, farming, and other domestic tasks.
Season Worlds
Miraibo GO's seasons system features Season Worlds, which are accessible through temporal rifts appearing in the game’s lobby during new events. Each Season World offers unique Mira, buildings, progression systems, items, and gameplay features. At the end of a season, your achievements translate into rewards that can be used in the main world of Miraibo GO.
About Abyssal Souls
The inaugural event, Abyssal Souls, embraces the Halloween spirit with a themed Season World and a chilling narrative. An ancient evil, the Annihilator, has emerged, creating an entire island. This formidable Mira is accompanied by event-exclusive minions like Darkraven, Scaraber, and Voidhowl, challenging players to defeat them. A pro tip for players: tackle these monsters during daylight hours, as they are stronger at night in the Abyssal Souls world.
This season introduces rule changes that level the playing field, giving new players a chance against seasoned veterans. Gaining a level will now modestly increase your health instead of granting attribute points. Additionally, a new Souls system allows players to spend collected Souls on powerful stat bonuses, though losing a fight means losing all your Souls. However, you'll retain your equipment and Mira upon death.
Abyssal Souls also introduces an event-exclusive PvP system with free-for-all battles on the Annihilator-created island, where players can either lose all their Souls or win valuable loot. Success in this season grants Spectral Shards, which can be spent on special items and rewards. Players can explore new event-specific buildings like the Abyss Altar, Pumpking Lamp, and Mystic Cauldron, and venture into the secret Ruin Arena for PvP and the Ruin Defense Event.
For those less inclined to face the horrors, special Halloween costumes and accessories are available. To dive into the eerie excitement of Abyssal Souls, download Miraibo GO for free on Android, iOS, or PC via the game's official site.
