Revolutionary AI-Powered Characters Coming to PUBG and inZOI: A CES 2025 Game Changer

CES 2025 has unveiled groundbreaking advancements in mobile gaming, with one of the most significant being Krafton's announcement of the AI-generated "Co-Playable Character" (CPC). This innovative concept, revealed on January 8th, introduces NPCs infused with generative AI, set to debut in both PUBG and inZOI.

inZOI's implementation of this "Smart Zoi" promises a new level of realism. These AI characters will possess unique personalities and emotional depth, creating more immersive and lifelike interactions within the simulation.

PUBG's "PUBG Ally" will dynamically adapt its strategies to complement player actions, enhancing gameplay dynamics. Whether this proves thrilling or unsettling remains to be seen.

ytDeveloped in collaboration with NVIDIA ACE, CPCs will enable real-time conversations that evolve based on the game's context. “Our partnership with NVIDIA highlights the transformative power of AI in gaming, and we're committed to pushing the boundaries of what's achievable," states Kangwook Lee, Head of Krafton's Deep Learning Division.
