Microsoft's recent ID@Xbox Showcase delivered a bounty of exciting news for indie game fans, with updates and announcements galore. Balatro, a standout title, even made a surprise appearance, launching directly onto Xbox Game Pass on February 24th.
Another indie hit, Buckshot Roulette, is also joining the Xbox Game Pass family. This tabletop horror game, released just last December 2023, captivated over four million players with its thrilling—and terrifying—pump-action shotgun Russian roulette gameplay.
But the excitement doesn't stop there! The showcase revealed a wave of new indie games coming to Xbox Game Pass throughout 2025.

- Revenge of the Savage Planet (Consoles) - May 8th
- Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault (Consoles and PC) - 2025
- Tanuki: Pon's Summer (Consoles and PC) - Late 2025

And that's not all! Watch Dogs: Legion (Cloud, Console, and PC) joined Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on February 25th.
