Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is nearing its full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game cleverly blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release in China has been greenlit, with a projected launch in 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased the game as an open-world urban RPG, placing players in the role of an A.C.D. agent investigating the mysteries of the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova.

This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, attributing it to the familiar yet supernatural blend of environments.

Key features of Ananta include four-player team-based combat, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
