Pokemon GO's Steely Resolve Event: Corviknight Arrives!
The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—finally debuts in Pokémon GO on January 21st during the Steely Resolve event! This addition expands the game's Galar region Pokémon roster.
The arrival was subtly hinted at in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, showcasing Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. The wait is over, however, with the Steely Resolve event running from 10 am on January 21st to 8 pm on January 26th (local time).
This event packs a punch with a new Dual Destiny Special Research, updated Field Research tasks, and a $5 Paid Timed Research offering. Magnetic Lure Modules will attract a wider range of Pokémon, including Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee. Increased spawns of ten Pokémon, including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Carbink, will also be featured. Shadow Pokémon can finally forget the Frustration Charged Attack using a Charged TM.
