Despicable Me: Minion Rush receives a major update, adding content inspired by the fourth Despicable Me film, now available in the US.
This update introduces Poppy, a new aspiring villain, and a mission centered around her first heist: stealing the Honey Badger. Players will also enjoy new missions and a fresh costume, the Renfield outfit, for their minion.
The update is live now, featuring Poppy's quest to pilfer the Honey Badger from the Lycee Pas Bon with the Minions' assistance. A new World Games Special Mission is also included.
The enduring popularity of the Despicable Me franchise, originating with Illumination's debut feature film (co-produced by Mac Guff), is undeniable. Minion Rush, boasting over a billion downloads and a decade-long run, mirrors this success. Despite potential criticisms, the franchise and its associated game continue to thrive, fueled by the upcoming film release.
