Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch
Get ready for the global release of Delta Force, courtesy of Garena! Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical FPS is launching a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.
Developed initially by NovaLogic, the project was later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), and now Garena is partnering with them for a global rollout. The game will feature cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms, with a planned 2025 launch in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
What's in Store?
Delta Force offers two exciting game modes:
- Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
- Operations: A high-stakes extraction shooter mode for three-person teams. Teams scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach an extraction point before time runs out. This mode features bosses, restricted zones, and special missions, with a rare item, the MandelBrick, granting access to exclusive skins (though revealing your location to other players).
Loot acquired can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also defeat opponents to obtain their gear and supplies.

A Nostalgic Return?
Garena and TiMi's Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics and the tactical gameplay the series is known for. Fans of the original 1998 release will undoubtedly find this a welcome return.
