How to Unlock Domain Expansion
Jujutsu Infinite features two Domain types: Incomplete and Full Domain Expansion.
Incomplete Domain Expansion: Unlocked upon completing the final story segment (available at Level 420). Functions similarly to a Full Domain, but innate abilities lack full area-of-effect (AoE) within it.
Full Domain Expansion: The culmination of the Mastery path for specific Legendary and Special Grade Cursed Techniques. Located on the far right of the Innate Skills Mastery tree, it requires a Domain Shard and Mastery Level 250 in the relevant Innate Technique.
How to Obtain Domain Shards
Domain Shards are rare and valuable. Acquisition methods include:
- Curse Market NPC: This vendor offers periodic sales of Domain Shards in exchange for Demon Fingers and Jade Lotuses.
- Chest Loot: A rare drop from chests; using luck-enhancing consumables improves your chances.
- Player Trading: Domain Shards are tradable between players.
- World Drops: Shards may spawn in the game world, but locating them efficiently requires the Item Notifier gamepass (2,699 Robux).
How to Use Domain Expansion
Domain Expansion is your ultimate attack. First, equip it via the Skills menu. Fill the Domain Meter by attacking enemies, then activate it using the assigned hotkey.
Within your Domain, innate skills gain full AoE, become undodgeable, and your offensive and defensive stats receive a 50% boost. Incomplete Domains only provide the stat increase.
Domain Clashing
Simultaneous Domain Expansions trigger a minigame: a Domain Clash. Press LMB (M1) when the red line aligns with the blue sections of the meter. The victor expands their Domain, depleting the loser's meter.
Defending Against Domain Expansion
Several defensive strategies exist:
- Simple Domain: (20 SP) Creates a small area within an enemy's Domain, negating its effects.
- Hollow Wicker Basket: Negates enemy Domain effects but prevents use of innate techniques.
- Heavenly Restriction: (1699 Robux gamepass) Allows ignoring most sure-hit effects within a Domain.
