We gave the AMD Radeon RX 9070 a rating of 8/10. It matches the price of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 but outperforms it in most games we tested, thanks to its larger VRAM capacity (16GB versus 12GB), making it a more future-proof option. It also consumes about the same amount of power as the RTX 5070.

It delivers exceptional 1440p performance, often achieving high refresh rates even without frame generation, and includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. The only drawback is its similarity to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT received a perfect score of 10/10 from us. Despite being $150 cheaper than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, it surpasses it in several games we tested, with some benchmarks showing significant margins. It also features 16GB of VRAM, matching both the 9070 and 5070 Ti. However, it does consume more power and runs hotter on average compared to the RTX 5070 Ti.
