Crusader Kings III Chapter IV: Expanding Horizons with Mongols and Asia

Paradox Interactive has unveiled its ambitious plans for Crusader Kings III in 2025, encompassing Chapter IV: an expansive journey into Asia. This chapter introduces new mechanics and vast territories, significantly enriching the gameplay experience.

The journey begins with the recently released Crowns of the World cosmetic DLC. This stylish pack offers players six unique crowns, four hairstyles, and two beards, providing ample opportunities for royal personalization.

Next up, on April 28th, prepare for the arrival of Khans of the Steppe, the first major DLC of Chapter IV. Take the reins as the Great Khan, leading your nomadic horde across the steppes, conquering lands, and establishing your dominance over rival territories.

Following the Mongol conquest, Coronations will arrive in Q3 (July-September). This DLC introduces a significant ceremonial mechanic, allowing players to legitimize their rule through grand coronation events. Prepare for lavish festivities, solemn vows, and crucial decisions shaping the destiny of your kingdom. New advisor and vassal events will further enhance political intrigue and interaction, adding depth to royal succession.

The grand finale of Chapter IV is All Under Heaven, a massive expansion slated for later this year. This expansion unveils the entirety of East Asia, meticulously detailing China, Korea, Japan, and the Indonesian islands. Players will find themselves immersed in a vast and richly detailed world, brimming with new territories to explore and conquer.

Between these major DLC releases, Paradox will continue to refine the game experience through regular patches, focusing on game systems and AI improvements. The developers actively encourage player feedback to shape future updates, with the next community Q&A session scheduled for March 26th.
